- Nora telling us more about her history .
- After working in her brother dry clean businesses for more than 7 years’ as a supervisor in Bushbuckridge , Norah decided to come to Joburg Soweto her aunty was a domestic worker at one of the well off family in Rosebank, her aunty manage to secure a job for Norah as a care giver to the doctors parents.
- The love for taking care of vulnerable people who are sick, no food, no parents, no houses rose a petion for Norah to start her businesses,

- Norah Moriri shares: “I came to this area, Barcelona – Etwatwa and Putfontein in 1998 – it’s almost more than 20 years ago and never left. “I enjoy helping my community . Many of them feel like my family too me now because I’ve been here 20 years and they seem to come to me for everything. If they’ve got an issue with water, food, guidance ,business interest I’ll always put them in the right direction of where to go and help where I can
- Families at the moment are finding it really, really hard. Struggling to pay bills, freezing cold inside homes, skipping meals Food, gas, electricity , baby food , petrol…… amid all else that’s going on, the cost of living crisis continues to rumble on, and it’s hitting women hard.
- Since the start of pandemic Covid – 19 in 2019 until now we struggled to find sponsors or any donation, hence now we are aiming become a self-sustaining enterprise, but it’s very difficult to make that transition.In collaboration with Isupportikasilam pty Ltd the company that advertising small businesses online for free we’ve started a vegetable garden where we produce vegetables seedlings and also sell vegetables like, Spinach, Rape, Cabbage, Mustard, Tomatoes at maturity stage to the locals, for us to generate income to sustain the growth of the business – we’re trying to be creative!
- While we wait for the good Samaritans to help us with donations or sponsors we are pulling together to help our communities says Norah .

- Had to close for months with no income , take in mind that’s the only sauce i support my family with, even now i am still recovering
